A company of Black Robe Regiment pastors in every political jurisdiction in America, asserting their own and the vital leadership and influence of their churches in civil government.

An Army Of Passionate Clergy

America’s Black Robe Regiment is a national association of patriot pastors and ministry leaders who are striving together to secure Liberty to our own and the next generation of Americans.

“Black Robe Regiment” is an historical reference to the colonial clergy who were instrumental in founding the nation through their sermons in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The phrase was a derisive British reference to the black robes worn by the American clergy.

Who We Are

America’s Black Robe Regiment is an association of patriot pastors who hold Liberty to be sacred and preach the whole counsel of God.

We believe the most powerful weapon in America’s arsenal against tyranny is a patriot pastor who proclaims the whole counsel of God regarding every area of life, including the sacred duty  of every Christ follower to vote  in every election for candidates who uphold biblical morality and abide by the Constitution  of the United States.

What is a PATRIOT PASTOR ?

Members of America’s Black Robe Regiment commit to courageously speak truth and sign Gideon’s 300 Pledge to be a person who:

  • Will not divorce the role of a pastor from matters that have a direct bearing on their temporal or eternal welfare, nor as a shepherd from the deliberations and actions of civil government.
  • Will preach the whole counsel of God.
  • Preaches a minimum of one election sermon prior to every election.
  • Instills a biblical worldview by teaching and preaching its principles.
  • Teaching that voting is a sacred duty incumbent upon everyone who professes to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Ensures every member of voting age within the flock is registered to vote.

Molding The Future

Jesus called on his people to be the “salt of the earth” and we believe that directive should be followed with urgency and diligence. Access our resources and support system by joining the Regiment and signing the Gideon’s 300 Pledge.

How to Start a Black Robe Chapter

  • Educate yourself on the history of the pulpit.

  • Sign the Gideon’s 300 Pledge. Sign it here – if you have not signed it yet.
  • Attend bi-monthly Huddles on the first and third Thursdays at 4 PM ET each month to be encouraged and inspired by other like-minded pastors from across the nation. Learn about things you can do in your church and community to help Christians engage in the governmental duties, such as simply voting.
  • Find one or 2 other pastors in your community or state that you can partner with in prayer and practice. Meet together monthly in person or by phone or Zoom meetings. Hold each other accountable to following the Gideon’s 300 Pledge.
  • Encourage your fellow pastors to reach out to other pastors so your chapter can grow. State Chapters hold their own Huddle on the fourth Thursday of each month. The day and time per month can be determined by each individual chapter if the 4th Thursday at 4pm is not convenient for your chapter.
  • Stay abreast of issues effecting Christian liberties, family life, and education on a local and state level. Invite government officials to speak at your church, Women’s Bible study, Men’s group, Sunday School, or even Youth Group.
  • Visit state representatives, school board members, Town Hall members, etc., to pray for them or encourage church members to visit and pray with them. This is particularly needed when your state’s legislature is in session.
